The new Highlander is a famous family SUV that will remain to be a three-row model. It comes with a spacious and roomy cabin for eight passengers.
Under the hood, the new Highlander will continue to offer a few powertrain options, and the hybrid system is one of them. The latest spy photos appear, and according to them, the upcoming Highlander will borrow some cues from the smaller RAV4 crossover.

However, some small changes will make this model visually attractive. The front of this SUV is wearing an all-new grille and LED headlights that dominate over the front fascia. The Highlander will sit on the TNGA architecture.
The rear end is heavily camouflaged, and there is no visible spot to describe what is changed. According to the speculations, the Highlander will get a stronger back design with new taillights. Dimensionally, the new model will be slightly larger than the previous model, measuring 2.36 inches longer at 194.9 inches overall.

2023 Highlander Hybrid
The hybrid drivetrain will also be on the offer. According to the officials, this model will hit the dealerships next year, as well. Under the hood, this engine consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline unit with a pair of electric motors/generators. The total output of the hybrid model will be around 240 hp.
The hybrid variant will also, as the engines above, come with the front-wheel-drive system as standard and all-wheel-drive setup as options.
Price and Arrival Date
The 2023 Toyota Highlander will be slightly redesigned. The new model will offer numerous configurations. However, the price will be the same, and the base model starts at around $33,500. Highlander Hybrid will raise the price to $40,000.
Limited Platinum trim that is the most equipped, starts at $47,000. All-wheel-system configuration is optional on all models and costs $1,800. Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, and Nissan Pathfinder are Highlander’s strongest competitors. The debut of the new Highlander will be sometime in 2023.
