Optional, 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 410 horsepower is available. Furthermore, the optional engine delivers 430 lb-ft of twisting power. Still, the real deal is the diesel powertrain.
A 6.7-liter Cummins is known for its reliability and high torque rating. 370 horses and 930 lb-ft of torque will surely please every customer, especially those who are looking for heavy-duty work. The diesel engine could also gain slightly more torque and its towing capacity will be rated at 20,000 pounds. Both six-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available.
Price and Release Date
The latest news is saying the 2023 Ram 2500 will now cost $34,000. It is a small jump in pricing given the number of upgrades. If you want more luxury, you will have to pay over $40,000 at least. The good thing is that the Ram HD offers a lot of trim levels and cab configurations. The manufacturer will release its new model in the second half of the year.
